“Memory, Relocation and Life in Motion”

The direction for our set design came from the inspiration story behind Christines’s artwork @cjrarchive .In her artist’s description she reveals that each of her wire box structures represent the floor plans of the many childhood homes she had to relocate from. We utilized her sculptures to create a dreamlike atmosphere in which to bring her memories and nostalgia for the past to life. Our concept for this project was the story of a girl who is dreaming of one day having a place where she can remain, and call her own.
